Technical Performance Profile

The Sveaverken Nimbo X Plus is an unguided, automated agricultural machine built for systematic feed placement in livestock environments. The machine integrates a 3D LiDAR telemetry system alongside a 2 MP (1080p at 30 fps) optical sensor to map barn layouts, removing the structural requirement for full-length magnetic guidance strips along feed alleys. Operational programming requires only a localized 2-to-3 meter magnetic reference track placed at the docking station. LiDAR and GPS tracking allow the Nimbo X Plus to be fully autonomous requiring no magnetic strips or painted lines to maintain course. 

Vision Camera System

• AI-Driven Visual Navigation: Uses smart cameras (monocular and binocular) combined with spatial sensors to visually identify barn landmarks and feeding tables. This allows the robot to navigate paths autonomously without requiring extensive magnetic tracks or floor drilling.

• Real-Time Obstacle Detection & Avoidance: Scans the feed lane continuously to spot livestock, farm personnel, or equipment in its trajectory, allowing the system to safely stop or adapt its route on the fly.

• Live Remote Monitoring: Transmits a live video feed directly to the farm management app (MooConnect), enabling operators to inspect feed alleys, monitor livestock behavior, and check robot progress remotely from anywhere.

• Environmental & Path Adaptation: Captures real-time visual data to adjust movement according to changes in the barn environment, ensuring consistent feed distribution along the barrier.

Locomotion and Navigation Capabilities

• Speed and Pathing: The unit maintains a fixed horizontal travel speed of 18 m/min.

• Sensor Output: The onboard LiDAR features a 360° × 59° field of view, processing 200,000 data points per second to achieve a relative positioning accuracy of 2 cm over an operational range of 40 to 70 meters.

• Grade Limits: Internal drive mechanics allow the base model to scale 10.5% inclines. The secondary configuration (Plus variant) features a mechanical skirt lift system to clear slopes up to 27%.

• Obstacle Management: Dual-layer visual and laser telemetry detect structural or organic obstructions in the travel path, stopping the unit until the clearance path opens.

Electrical and Enclosure Specifications

• Power Dynamics: Propulsion is delivered via two 400 W brushless motors. Energy is drawn from a 48V lithium-ion battery network, which consumes roughly 5% of its total energy reserve per feeding route.

• Charging and Uptime: A full recharge sequence requires 4 hours. A single charge cycle supports 16 hours of continuous mobility or 2 days of standard cyclical use (equating to roughly 24 planned routes).

• Structural Dimensions: The round chassis has a diameter of 1080 mm, an active height of 1330 mm, and a transport height of 665 mm. The total net mass is 505 kg.

• Environmental Ratings: Built with a sealed, water-resistant outer frame, the robot operates within a thermal window of -20°C to +50°C for indoor and outdoor agricultural deployment.

We will provide you with tracking information as soon as the product is shipped.  If the product is over 150 lbs it will ship LTL freight.  Product less than 150 lbs. will ship via UPS, USPO, DHL or Fed EX.  Customer can expect shipping lead time to be 1 to 10 business days. In stock product typically arrives within 3-5 business days depending on your location.  If the product is not in stock you will promptly be notified and it may take 3 to 5 weeks for your order to be filled (we will clearly communicate this to you). 

Please double check and verify the dimensions and description including the hole pattern and bolt size of the part numbers in your order and verify they are correct.  We are happy to provide drawings and consult to verify the correct part #'s.  We recommend you put a tape measure to it.
