Hardox® Wear Parts Center
What Makes Us Different
Equipment Blades Inc. is one of a select group of authorized Hardox® Wear Parts Centers in North America. That designation means we cut, form, drill, and fabricate certified Hardox® plate in-house — with SSAB engineering support behind every part.
It is not a reseller designation. We receive Hardox® plate directly, process it to your specifications, and ship finished wear parts from our facilities in Sioux Falls, SD and La Vista, NE.
Every part ships with full SSAB mill certification. You get the actual measured hardness from the mill test report — not just a nominal grade on a sticker. Generic AR400 can vary 60 or more HBW between offshore suppliers within the same grade name. Hardox® carries a guaranteed hardness window, per plate, every time.
Grade Selection Guide
Hardox® Grades We Fabricate
Each grade trades weldability and toughness for hardness and wear life. Not sure which one fits? Call us — we'll walk through the application with you.

Certified vs. Generic AR Plate
Why Certified Hardox® Matters
Generic AR plate carries a grade name. Hardox® carries a guaranteed hardness window, tested impact toughness, and a mill test report with actual data per heat lot — not estimates.
What We Fabricate
Applications
From standard grader blades to custom mining liners — if it wears, we can build it in Hardox®.
Hardox® 400 for standard road maintenance. Hardox® 450–500 for caliche, decomposed granite, and iron ore reclaim. Stock sizes for most common grader models. Custom lengths to print.
Hardox® 400 blade bodies. Hardox® 450 or 500 cutting edges for high-mileage grit routes — reduces mid-season swaps and lowers total annual cost even at a higher unit price.
Hardox® 400 for aggregate and mixed material. Hardox® 450 for wet sand and fine silica. Toughness at the lip matters — we stock and fabricate for most major loader models.
Hardox® 400 structural backing with 400 or 450 face plate depending on material. Custom-cut to your blade dimensions and pre-drilled to your bolt pattern.
Floor plates, lip assemblies, and side liners in Hardox® 400–500. Supplied as cut blanks or fabricated to your bucket drawing. Welding procedure documentation included on request.
Send us your print, sample, or dimensions. We cut, form, drill, and finish Hardox® plate to spec. Single replacement pieces to full fleet production runs — same facility, same certified material.
Simple Process
How to Order
No minimum order. No print required. Single parts to full fleet runs — we handle both.

Parts are cut, formed, and drilled at our Sioux Falls, SD facility. Full SSAB mill certification on file for every heat lot we process.
Standard cutting edges ship in one week or less. Custom fabricated parts ship per confirmed schedule. Free shipping on qualified orders.
